Several of our Fam (Stu) have asked for updates re our life in/on our aqua-condo.
Short answer: it hasn't started yet.

The hardtop is installed but still needs a hatch over the helm seat. Our last (big) project is having a full enclosure made so we'll have a 4-season porch and dining area.
We are shooting for the first w/e of Aug to get underway. Plan to head north to Block Island, Newport, the Vineyard, Nantucket, etc. Don't know if we will have enough time to cruise north of the Cape. (Original plan was to make it to Maine. LOL). We want to be back in Naptown by the end of Sept. Bucket List includes a trip west in LI Sound and then south through NYC, Hells Gate, past Statue of Liberty, etc.
We now have all our paper and electronic charts. Many THX to Mark's DoE co-workers whose generous gift certificate purchased the final chart- NY to Nantucket.
After the Oct Boat Show we plan to join the "train" and head south on the ICW (aka the Ditch) to FL and the Bahamas. Home in Apr and then join the ARC Europe cruising rally in May 2015. Keeping it loose but cha gotta have goals, right?!
Gonna use Mark's other retirement gift certificate to buy a Spot. We'll tie that in to this blog.

This year of US coastal sailing we will still have wifi and mobile phone svc.
We are no longer receiving snailmail here at the terra-condo in Annapolis. All our mail goes to niece and COO, Lauren, in TX where she will "process" it. (Open, scan, trash. But maybe not in that order.)
